IKEA

More often than not, city living means having to face with the issue of confined spaces. People love buying new items and furniture for their homes but cannot do so because of space constraints.

Apart from the quality and pricing of its innovative product range, IKEA envisions “To Create A Better Everyday Life For The Many People”. In addition, it has a wide range of product that focuses on “Smart Spaces”.

Thus in order to promote the above-mentioned unique selling proposition of IKEA, whilst appealing to consumers who are looking for space saving solutions, we came up with a series of ambient campaign that aims to demonstrate the big idea of “Small Spaces, Big Ideas”.

Instead of the usual IKEA showrooms found in its stores that many people are familiar with, we decided to bring them out to demonstrate the clever transformation of random empty corners and unnoticeable spaces in malls and walkways by IKEA.

By turning these outdoor spaces into IKEA showrooms, not only can IKEA expose its products to more potential buyers within the mall with interaction and first-hand experience of the products, they also reinforce the notion of IKEA as the creative master of space saving.

As a result, this series of advertisements will be able to instill the perception of “No matter how big or small the space, there is always room for an IKEA product” in the minds of the consumers.
